Counseling services are for those who want to discuss a problem or question with a philosopher one-on-one. The kinds of problems appropriate for these sessions include ethical dilemmas, major life decisions, religious questions, questions about the self and motivation, and others--anything you may want to think carefully and intensely about with a philosophically trained dialogue partner. Sessions can be in person, by phone, or by chat or email.
This is a group activity aimed at exploring the nature of an important concept. The concept to be discussed varies from session to session. Examples of such concepts could include: Justice, bravery, faith, art, confidence, education, logic--any concept the group finds important and worth talking about.
This is usually a group activity, and usually (but not necessarily) focuses on film. The group watches a film together, (or participates in some other cultural event,) either in a theater or at someone's home, then afterwards takes some time to discuss philosophical issues raised during the course of the film.
